In addition to my licensure as a therapist, I am also a Kripalu trained yoga instructor. I provide workshops for teens, professionals and parents on mindfulness and the practice of meditation and yoga to reduce anxiety and improve strength, flexibility and mood. Yoga can help regulate emotions, calm the nervous system, improve our mood, strength and flexibility, and tolerate distress and anxiety better.

Children are being raised in a metaphorical Times Square, filled with stimulation and complexity. These practices of remaining present, learning how to use one's breath to create calm are translating into lifelong skills. |
